Restore Deleted Posts
 
Malicious members sometimes delete information they have posted.

We need a mod for 4.2.2 patch 4 that will restore these posts by making a SQL inquiry and restoring the information that was deleted by the delete marking.

Anyone want to take a crack at this?

Once a post is permanently deleted, it's gone. Only way to solve that would be to not allow members to delete their posts, or when one is deleted, store that info into another table.

IMO, don't let them delete posts/threads.

Only soft deleted posts can be restored.
Physically deleted posts are really physically deleted and can not be restored in any way, unless you have a backup.

Not unless you write a script, to store that into a different table. But this would require a bit of work. Easier to just not let them delete the posts/threads.
