Promo Module for Competitions
 
Hi all,

How would I go about creating a forum module to place in my right column to promote a member competition?

Would it be, add a new html module?

can anyone make a html template to showcase a competition thread for me? something to direct them to go to the competition thread that I can place in a module.

any help would be appreciated, once I have some kind of template in HTML to go by I can make adjustments from there.
