Apache on Mac
 
Hello,

Does anyone here use Apache (MySQLPHP) on Mac?
I just bought a new MacBook Pro 13" with Retina, I like the display only, and the OS is horrible.

I changed DocumentRoot to "/Users/dat/Dropbox/web" and get 403 Forbidden, even I chmod to 644 "web" folder..
( <Directory "/Users/Dropbox/dat/web"> also changed. )

Do you know whats wrong?

Why would you buy a MacBook if you hate the OS? You can install Linux/win8/10 on it without any serious issues.

Chances are the owner is not correct for the process that it is running under, that or you didn't set the permissions correctly.

LOL that is what I was thinking. And installing a free distribution like Ubuntu on your old Windows PC/Laptop is a lot cheaper. :)
