Go to Styles & Templates > Style Manager - make sure the far right drop down is set to "All Style Options" and then click "Go". Scroll down to "Main Table Width (pixels or percentage) " and change it to what you want. If you want to change it to a percentage then put something like 80% in the field, if you want to change it to say 940px then put only the number 940 in the field and save.

Do you know where your Style Manager is? Go there and open up the menu beside the style you want to make changes in. The menu item to choose is called "StyleVars". (If your forum is in a different language, then it might be named something different from "StyleVars". It will be underneath "Common Templates". )

If you use percentages, you have to use the % symbol. If you use pixels, only use the number and do not include the letters "px".
