Replace vBulletin header with WordPress header !
 

Hello,

I have integrated my forum with wordpress using VBSSO. Now, i want the header of the wordpress site to be put in place of vBulletin header. Although there are a couple posts in the internet about doing so, they do not work. Any one has an idea on how to do this?

A little more info would be helpful such as a site link the code for the header you want to merge into vBulletin, all of the above would be great!

The WordPress link is www.grindfactor.com/wpress and vBulletin site is grindfactor.com. I am looking to replace vBulletin header with the word press one. Hope this helps.

Hmmm well I can tell you why it may not be working. You are trying to put a responsive header into a non-responsive theme. The header code & the current vBulletin skin code are most likely not compatible. I'm not entirely sure but it may not be possible to put that "exact" same header into vBulletin without having a completely responsive skin for vBulletin and taking the skin you have off. So this may not be something you can accomplish easily. There maybe some who are more familiar with responsive Wordpress themes and be able to point you in the right direction, or it maybe a bigger job and you may have to end up hiring someone in the end.

i did some google search and ended up here where it is shown to be so simple! So if i place the header code in the mobile theme, it might work as it is responsive. Let me give it a try :)

LOL yeah I understand. Sometimes its a bit deceiving and not as simple as some think it should be. But sometimes its easier than you first thought :)

Can you post the link to "here" where you found the info?

You are going to add a wordpress header into the mobile theme? I don't think it is going to be so easy.

Post reported. How daft can one be to link to a vB warez site on an official vB site? And since you have an account there, shall we gather you're a regular user of stolen addons? Great potential for making friends here, buddy...

Agreed. Or a stolen license possibly? But kudos on making it easier for vBulletin/IB to track down that site & get them taken down!
