chatbox not showing up
 

I installed MGC Chatbox Evo on my forum. Everything looks fine in the admincp, but it is not showing up in the forum.

You should find a new chatbox addon if your current one is getting the problem.

I think it might be a permissions issue. I am not exactly sure how to modify them. MGC Chatbox Evo is a good chatbox addon.

Sorry - but that seems not a very useful answer to me. Do you expect an answer in your own thread along the lines of: "if you see warnings in stylevars, don't use the stylevars or get another forum software"?

Questions/Problems regarding modifications/styles need to be asked in the modification/style thread. That is where the support for modification/style is - not out here in the main forums. Please note that if a modification/style is unsupported (or even if it says it is supported), you may be on your own if you chose to install it.

I know this is off topic slightly, but the mod support on .com is getting very slow and there are a lot of threads with no response.
I suspect that you aren't the only one leaving.

Ummm, no, he said that because of vb5 and the way it is been handled.

In addition to what Chris said, there is no mod support on .com, so it will always be slow there if you even get an answer.

Make sure your group, Admin, has permission to use the chatbox or else you will not see it.

As for support for this mod, forget it. Whatever you do, don't buy the pro version. without the license file, it shuts your site down. Took them weeks to get me a correct license file.

When I get a chance, I am going to install that pay chat system whose name I can't recall.
