Forum functionality of identfying links and spam content!
 

Are there mods or plugins used by forum administrators for finding the spam and linked content type checking tools?

All you have to do is put into the search at the top right of the forums here the word spam and then select "All Mods" in the drop down and in the next drop down select "Titles Only" and click the search button. you will see all kinds of mods for controlling spam. There is also another measure you can take most people who spam your forum will do so when they first register so there is THIS hack that can be installed to make where you can set a certain amount of posts they have to have before they can even post a link at all.

I have used all of those however this is not what I'm asking for. I purchased a forum with about 300k posts and there are a lot of spam posts. I'm looking for something to find all posts with links in them.

Ah that is something that you would have to probably write a php code for yourself or hire someone to do for you.

If there happens to be thousands of spam posts (or at least thousands with links), what do you want to be able to do with them?

Most of the forum is good posts, I do not think there are thousands of spam posts however maybe. I would like to delete them.
