This is super small addon or plugin for vb 3.6.x
I really need to use this plugin for limit link in post/thread.

Can someone help me to convert this addon or plugin for support vb 4.2.2

Do you have permission to copy, reproduced or published elsewhere this mod?

If you do not have the authors permission, you need to remove the code, and post in the paid requests section to have someone do this.

I've removed the code you posted, please refer anyone trying to help to the link above. We can post code examples and/or tips of how to convert this to 4.x and on that note I'm moving this thread to the programming discussion forum.

Only if you're posting the entire mods code as you did above, if we just retain the link I posted you can refer anyone trying to help to that link which is the mod you posted the code too by the way :D so then you can just copy the snippets posted to update. Alternatively someone may decide to update the mod for 4.x and post it in the 3.x mods thread (must be an attachment in the thread not anywhere else).
