Automatic Thread-tag Subscriptions

I am building a corporate public facing forum where experts can answer topics on a wide range of different software and IT related issues.

The goal is to notify users to any new thread, or replies to it, based off of its thread's tags. Keywords would work too..

It looks like this mod did this... but its in the MOD Graveyard.

Is there any way I can get a copy of this mod to try it out? No support is fine.
Or, can someone create or suggest a similar one?

Sorry, but once a mod is in the graveyard, it no longer can be downloaded. :(

You could try and contact the developer, and see if he would be willing to share.
