Poll Voting
 

A few of our members are complaining about the Poll's taking forever to load their votes. Is there something that can be done to assist with this problem?

What version of vB are you running?
What version of PHP are you running?
What type of server is this, shared, VPS or dedicated?
What are the server specs?
What is the server load averages?
How many members/guests are on your site as a average?

vB 4.2.2 (which I'm truly beginning to hate. 4.2.0 was better IMO)

PHP Version 5.2.17

Not sure on type of server, server specs or server load averages (I'm not the owner, just the Administrator of this particular forum)

Well the info you provided is nice, but the rest of it is kinda needed to see exactly what is going on. Like type of server, server specs or server load averages.

I would also upgrade the PHP version, that one has security vulnerabilities in it. Also there have been some posts on vB.com that staff have said you need at least 5.3 for vBulletin 4.2.2 although it does not say that in the download area for the files.

Server load averages can be found in the admin CP Control Panel Home page just above the quick user finder
