force stock player of iPhone and android device to play our forum attachme

how can we force stock player of iPhone and android device to play our forum attachment?
when we attach a file in forum when we click on it the device force to download it not to play...
are a way to do this with mod and add a down load link for down load attachment directly and user can play or download it directly?

yes, i'd like to add more info from first post...vb3 and vb4 both work using iphone for .MP4 files in attachments. but when uploading a .MP4 file to vb5, using iphone and some other devices, the .MP4 attachment does not play after clicking attached MP4 link. MP3 works but thats it. MP4 does work fine downloading and playing in FF, IE and windows stock player. but most devices like iphone etc, they seem not to download and play in the built in player. again, works fine in vb3 and 4, just not 5. and reason for this?
Version 5.1.3. thanks.

It's not that nobody don't want to answer, it is most likely no one knows the answer.

i just tested .MP4 on XenForo and its the same thing, does not support download of android device. probably a good thing!

i just still do not understand how .MP4 works a treat on VB3.8. i just added jwplayer as an attachment player and its awesome on VB3.

it seems that, for this to work for VB5, the file attachment uploaded would have to be in a different format, for example: a member of XenForo created a mod that adds .MP4 for FF, IE etc and iphone_MP4.MP4 in attachments. but who wants 2 attachments of the same file, its just confusing for members. although the guy has 1 video running off 2 attachments, not sure how his done that, as yet.
