This mod will allow you to show a flashing pm icon in the header, if your users have a new pm.

It is a simple installation, upload the contents of the UPLOAD folder then import the product XML, ozzmodz_newpm_notice_38

You can edit the options under the settings, [OzzModz] vBulletin.org Type New Private Message Identifier Settings

What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

Glad you released this, i was just reading a post with a similar request and i have a mod i made on my site 4 years ago with this (but popping up as a notice to the user) which i was going to release, saved me the work :)
