Back-up, chat and notifications

Hi!

I have a few questions about our Vbulletin 5.1.3 forum. I have know a lot of time invest in a Dutch translation (and it isn't ready at the moment). However, I am still looking how to use the forum. Backup I can not find that anywhere in Vbulletin 5.1.3. Under what button I can go back up forum?

Also, I was wondering if Vbulletin a component for a chat. If not, you have a component that you recommend for Vbulletin 5.1.3? Or a chatfuntion what is the best with a custom HTML code.

Finally, we have chosen to give us an open forum and decided to handle. Part In the open section members can post a message without an account, after they have passed a verification code. They can then send the message and get this moderated. However, where I walk against it is that the message indeed get sent, but the user is not an indication that the message was sent. Where can I simply turn on this post so that members are not going to send the same message 10 times or something?

Also unregistered see the latest forum topics and the latest blogs. How can I make invisible to guests these items?

Sincerely,
Romano Sandee

p.s.
I translated it from dutch to english with Google. On that reason is the grammar not very well.

For backing up your database, these links are from the manual:
Backing Up The Database via SSH/Telnet or
Backing Up The Database via phpMyAdmin

Restoring The Database via SSH/Telnet or
Restoring The Database via phpMyAdmin

If you don't have shell access, some people have also reported success with these scripts:
MySQLDumper
MySQLHotxcopy
Bigdump

Regarding the users sending a message and not having any indication it was sent, do you mean they are sending a PM to someone? They should have a copy of the PM in their Sent Items box (assuming they have that option set to Yes to automatically keep copies of the PMs). You may want to consider setting up a Forum and set it so the usergroup cannot see Others Threads. Then, they can just post a new thread (instead of sending a PM) and they can see the thread there (but can't see others users threads).

If you don't want Unregistered users to see content, then in Usergroup Manager, set the Unregistered Users to not be able to see Topics or see the Forums or whatever permissions you want to change for them.

The back-up story I passed on to the person who knows more about programming.

The point is that the messages are moderated before they are online from non-registered members. However, this does not get the message given to the user that the message was sent to the forum and they become so still moderated by the administrator.

Meanwhile, we have made various user groups, including certain groups of users to share, so they may not see. They also do not see them when they are not logged on. I think that resolves the problem: in the last topics are topics getoont only where you have access to.

I also have a different question: is it possible to disable "reputation" and to switch from the member list from anyway? Or where you can determine which columns are visible on the list? Where can I set this up in Vbulletin 5.1.3?

Again thanks for the replies.
