Have you tried on a unmodified default style?
Have you tried with all mods disabled?
What vB version and PHP version are you running?

yes, yes, and yes. 4.2.1.

I can source it, was just wondering if anyone had experienced the same issue and hopefully cut a corner.

gonna use your mod to exclude specific forums from What's New, actually. a fine mod!

Strange something must be stopping it from showing. Does it show up after a page refresh?

I have not seen that happen unless it was from a mod, style or template edit, so it is indeed strange.

I dunno if it was like a specific sequence of edits and mod adds, admittedly we've done a HEAP of them recently, like more than 30, so it's gonna be a pain-staking process of elimination. Oh well, if The Wiz of Oz doesn't know, we're all royally f****d. lol

Well if you tested it on a unmodified default style with all mods disabled, and the issue still persists, then their is something else going on.
