Captcha still doesn't work
 

I asked previous how I could get captcha to work again:

A lot of people gave me links, and said how shitty Captcha was, but that was no solution. I want no new stuff that I have to install, I just want to know how I can get the captcha that's already there to work again.

If someone knows how to do that, I would be very much obliged.

So why start a new thread, and not continue in the previous one? You still left un answered questions in there.

Well, gee, I dunno... perhaps because I thought that was the most polite thing to do since that one is from april? And perhaps because I thought that there were actually clever people around here who could actutally help instead of giving childish answers? And because I thought I would get normal answers instead of dotted ones? Just some silly thoughts I had, but I will discard them and seek help elsewhere.

Which is exactly what using captcha, is.

It is defeated. It is useless. It is obsolete. This is the 21st Century now.

And with comments like this, you expect people to help you in their free time?

<i>Modern and effective </i>anti-spam measures take into account legitimate human annoyance factors, and therefore don't utilize questions (defeated too) puzzles, games or captchas.

Why do you think ALL the major email providers' human verification is completely ineffective today? Oh, they stubbornly keep using captchas.

It's neutered. It annoys people. And that's all it does for you.

Have you disabled your mods? Tried a default style? What have you tried to get it to work (although honestly, the best thing to use is Question and Answer).

Q&A quickly lost effectiveness. There's several good articles out there about how it was defeated.
