Issue after DB sharing
 
Ok i managed to have the same DB in 2 different sites but the fun was short lived. Since i wanted to do that just so i can test 4.2.2 when I upgraded the test 3.8.7 to 4.2.2 i can go to the admincp with out an issue BUT if I go to the site it redirects me to the original site.

the .com is the original working 3.8.7 site. The .net is the one that i had as a mirror and upgraded it to 4.2.2 as soon as I did that when i type the .net it sends me to me .com

Anyone knows why?

Did you change the Forum URL in the admincp?

Lol such a minuscule thing had me running circles. Thanks a lot.

I had gone from mysql to htaccess to config.php looking for a solution and it was in front of my nose. LOL

have you got a htaccess file with the wrong info in it

no no ForceHSS, The fix was where Lynne suggested. I said I went to htaccess and the other files trying to see if the error was there. and the error was in front of my nose, :D
