If you haven't done so get your server(s) patched immediately.

Bash Bug could allow attackers to execute code on Linux, Unix, and Mac OS X.

The bug can be used to hack into vulnerable servers. Once inside, attackers could deface websites, steal user data, and engage in other forms of mischief.

Where is the patch is it on vbulletin.com or the links you put up if the links how we to patch when some of us have no idea how to from reading them links you posted

You would need to contact your host then, as this is server level, not a issue with vBulletin. :)

Would the host not already know about things like this and put in a fix without being told to do it

Depends on the host. :)

Also depends on if you have a managed or unmanaged server. :)

You'd hope so, but better to test it out with shell access if you have it. Better safe than sorry.
