How to show or hide forums and sub-forums

Hi I'm new to vBulletin so maybe this is a simple problem, but as it affects the structure of my site I need to find out now.

at present using vbull 5.1.2 level patch 3.
How to make collapsible and expandable forums and sub-forums on main page ?
