Forum creating lots of Backslshes(\\\\)
 
For somea reason my forum creates lots of backslashes.
As soon as the someone posts a character that needs to be escaped with a backslash the forum genereates more and more backslashes every time someone edits a post.

Any Ideas?

How long has this been happening? What happened on your site/server just prior to this starting? What version of PHP/MySQL on the server?

It started when I changed my provider. I moved from the US version of 1and1.com to the german 1und1.de.
I did setup a new forum. So it it must have startet right from the beginning.

PHP Version 5.4.32
