Force thread read 4.1.x
 

I want to force all users in a particular user group to read a particular thread once, especially users who have just registered and appear in that group.

I know there is an old version by Abe1 for earlier versions but he hasn't been around for a long time and they are not supported. They appear to do exactly what I want but I would prefer a later version specifically written for 4.1.x or, at least, will work with that.

Anything like that exist? If not, where would I go to request a paid mod written for me?

I would just use Abe's mod, it is still working, why pay someone to do exactly what is available for free?

True, however I read almost all the posts and there are way too many issues with it for my liking, especially for later versions of VB like mine, 4.1.7

Perhaps if the guy was still around I might try it and then at least I could get some help if there were problems.
