reactivate a inactive license
 

Hi,

I do own a vBulletin 3 Full version license, which is inactive.
Is there any way to reactivate it, to download newest updates?
Of course without buying vB 4 or even 5.

Nope, there is no more upgrades available, only way to have access to newer versions is purchase a vB5 license, then you would have access to vB4 or vB3

I do see 3.8.4 Patch Level 2, but I want the 3.8.8.

Unless I'm totally wrong and mislead, the highest download you see is all you are licensed for.

But I would suggest you get the last word from one of the vb reps here, ie admin's, moderators.

K4GAP is correct in that the highest version you may download is the one you see listed in the members area. If you wish to get a higher version, you would need to upgrade your license.

Most likely they want to run php 5.4, but either way, there is no need to keep doing this.

Yeah, I never understood why they stopped allowing people to upgrade their vB3 licenses. I mean either way they still make money from it. I guess they just make more through forcing people to buy vB5 with a $XXX.XX profit vs. $xx.xx.

I think there was only one time for a month where they allowed vB3 license holders to upgrade to the latest vB3.

If you have a reason for such comments then you need to state it, as it stands you are making comments that are perceived as unwelcome. Im not going to debate this further on the forum.

There was an option available for something like 6 months. I do not understand why they cannot offer a vb3 > vb4 upgrade for something like $99, which would give access to all vB3 & vB4. However, management do not appear interested in vb4, or vb3, even where the potential to make money exists.
