What is an extension?

Hi there,

I found an extension here that I like:

http://www.pcmasters.de/forum/forum.php

you can ask a question there as a guest, directly from the home page.

Does anyone have any idea what that is for a plug-in ??

I don't recall seeing something like that, it may be something they had custom coded.
