Separate Post Icon & Thread Title w/ Border?

As you can see in the above picture, thread titles that are longer are a bit of a blemish on my forum, as the latter words of the thread title end up under the post icon.

Not loving it.

Is there any way I can sort this out?

What I'd like to have is some sort of border that separates the thread title and the post icon, so that the text of the thread's title will not go under the icon.

Hopefully that makes sense.
