Text Box Graying out
 
Text boxes are fine for me but not for one of our users. why would this be?

Well the first screenshot is from sending a PM, and the second is from som sort of reviews system.

Is the user experiencing that in all areas, posting, PMing ect?

Ok, if you are talking about the missing icons, tell them to check their usercp and find out what they have set for Message Editor Interface:

Tell them to set it to Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing

Found it, it was a conflict in one of the mods. just had to disable it. Strange it was only affecting 1 user tho

Probably because the user was using Internet Explorer 7 or 8?
At least that's what I think by looking at the screenshots.
