Different Category Icons for EACH STYLE

Hey everybody. So I think that most people here know how to change the category icons of your forum (the images next to your category titles.)

You create a folder with the desired category images and then upload that via FTP to your Images directory. Then in the Forum Manager you type in the prefix for that folder and your finished.

But does anybody know if there is a way to have MULTIPLE SETS of category icons for EACH STYLE that you have on your website?

For example: http://e-hole.net/forums/forum.php

Look at the pretty category icons I made (The space helmet things.) I now want to make an alternate style for my website so that users have can options for which layout they would like to view. However these space helmet icons would no longer be relevant to the new layout (whatever it may be.) I want to have new category icons for this new style, but also make sure that the old style (current one) is in tact.

The problem is that category icons seems to be an overarching attribute over all of your styles. I think a way around this would be some sort of template edit within the desired style (because then it would be specific to that style, and not in the Forum Manager.) However I don't really know how to code.

I've searched for this on this website and others and have not found anything. There are mods that allow for more advanced category icon options, but still do not do what I'm asking.

Can anybody help me out please? In return I'd be happy to make buttons/category icons/banners for you.

like you said, "You create a folder with the desired category images and then upload that via FTP to your Images directory. Then in the Forum Manager you type in the prefix for that folder and your finished." - except you dont load all the images from all themes into the same directory, you create a subdirectory and load your images there and type in that location in styles manager.

for example, let's say you have a theme with helmets and a theme with teddy bears. so instead of loading both helmets and bears into forum/images, you create two subfolders there: forum/images/helmets and forum/images/bears, load the images accordingly, and type these locations in styles manager.

:D You need to create 2 images for new and old icons to make it different
Also, if you want to style for your icons, you will need to edit css or images directly to suite to your style.
PM me if you need some helps
