Mobile Style
 

Two questions...

1. Is it normal not to see Youtube videos in threads using the default mobile style?

2. If one wants to change certain properties (css), where are those changes applied for the mobile style?

Interesting how predictable it has become.

#1 - You should see youtube videos in your mobile theme.

#2 - To change the properties? I believe it is in the clientscript folder but will check and will post back later. I cannot remember exactly.

Editing the css of the vbulletin mobile theme is a nightmare. I have done it a few times. The best way is to use firebug and find what you want to change using that and then search in the css for it. Go look at the css for the mobile theme and you will see what I mean about it being a nightmare to edit...

Well I thought I remembered replying to this and thanking RichieBoy67 for the links above.
I will try one of the methods described.

However, I am still at a loss why youtube vids are not being seen in the default mobile style.

There is a video in this thread (at this post) if anybody would be kind enough to look at the mobile style.

I can't see the videos in the mobile style. My guess is you are using some sort of custom youtube bbcode and it's not defined in bbcode_video for that style.

Also, not sure if you're aware - but your quotes don't contain any text in the mobile style either.

You need a custom BB code for youtube on mobile style
Browse to mobile style and edit CSS that you want. You will need knowledge about css before thinking about change style for mobile style

I never even knew about the quote issue....
Regarding the custom youtube bbcode, I am just using vb standard insert video..
I will have to look into it though. As I remember, 1 mod I use may well be affecting the mobile style.

I have been away looking at other platforms particularly for mobile.
vB doesn't really cut it that well and I am thinking of heading into another platform direction.
