Links in MS Excel redirecting to IE8 Error Page
Hello,
Here is xcl file - http://www.indusladies.com/Preg Topi...k by week.xlsx open the file in MS Excel and click any of the links in Column C - "URL". It gets redirected to IE8 Error page ( http://www.indusladies.com/ie8-retired/). But when I copy paste the link in a browser, it works good. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? How do I fix the same. Thanks in advance. |
Seems to work for me, although I don't have MS Excel or IE8. What does the error page say?
Edit: Oh, I see now that you added a link to the error. |
Obviously Excel sends an IE 8 Header, and that page shows a "You're running an old browser"-page to IE8 users. This is not a vB problem.
