As not many here have vb5 you will need to wait for an answer

Which specific bits do you want to add to the postbit?

Location for example :)

The tutorial I wrote was for adding the profile fields to the postbit, not the profile page.

The location automatically gets added there on the profile page if you have it filled out. It should automatically get added to the posts also if you have it filled out. Location is a default profile field, it isn't a custom profile field which is what the tutorial talks about adding.

:O well, is there away to add it to the posts too ?

//Edit

I made a custom one but it doesn't add it :o

Are you using a totally default style? Do you have your hook system enabled (it is disabled by default)? When you added a new hook, did you make sure it was enabled? We'd need to see screenshots of the new field and the template and also get a link to your site using a default style. (Also, make sure you click Clear System Cache after making any changes in the admincp.)
