Not to late I hope

A while back I made a post or maybe it was just a comment but it stirred things up a bit. I feel like i need to apologize for my comments about not liking a certain contributor because they took up a lot of real estate in the footer via their requirement for such when using their product's.

I've come to realize it was wrong of me to open that can of worms. That particular group is just trying to improve their exposure and I'm nobody to judge them. For that I am sorry.

For those not familiar with my original post / comments, you're better off not asking about it just because you are curious.

My apology is to those involved that do know what I'm talking about.

Thanks for listening* reading*.

Well... If a Mod brands the footer, (or anywhere else) I simply don't use that Mod. End of problem.

If more people did that there would be alot less branding.

Probably not tbh.
Mods here are free so people dont really care that much if someone refuses to install them for what strange reason.
I have had people not install my for some really odd reasons over the years, but I just shrug it off, their loss not mine.

I wouldn't call branding a strange reason. But I see your point.

In fact I do use one of yours, and your branding was deemed acceptable since it only appears on the custom page the mod generates, and doesn't lead to a dead link.

That's one of the big problems with most of the branding - the links are dead most of the time.
