YouTube Is Reportedly Buying Videogame-Streaming Startup Twitch For More Than $1 Bill
 

I don't like it! I don't want to see Google+ all over twitch with the Youtube bad policies and changes.

I hope it never happens because it will defeat competition as well. Those who don't like Youtube, tend to use Twitch.

youtube and twitch are two completely separate places that serve their own stuff.

Never heard of Twitch until now.

It has accounted for at peak 1+% of all internet traffic. People like to watch other people play video games.

The video game community goes to Twitch instead of Youtube to share their video game reviews and gameplay because of all the copyright strikes Google keep giving and then closing the channels.

Twitch does live broadcasts as well, most of the games I play when time permits are broadcast on twitch - if not the players then the actual developers with new content such as dlc and more info to share and usually on a weekly basis plus there are chat type conversations like a chat room per say w/ interactiveness versus just a comment system.

Aw Geez! Now you tell me! I just blew the 999 million on beer and women..bummer.

I have not even heard of Twitch until recently. I have never used it.
