How is this new tweaked look ?
 

I'v been playing with Photoshop lately, trying different ideas and i came up with this redesign. How it is compare to the default look. Is it better or the default is better?

I basically made the background instead of dark/black more gray/metallic and I've changed the header.

The image you provided does not open up very big for me and is hard to tell anything by it. But, from what I can see it looks nice.

As I see your template thumnail then it has 2 footers on the design.

Well. I've updated my homepage for a new header and footer http://www.nihonomaru.com but with the forum, our members didn't like the metallic bright background, they preferred the current one which is black.

Update, i guess other members like it on our forum, so i think we will go with this design. Currently looking for someone to take on the redesign of the header and the few minor changes, my guess would be Mike if he is not too busy :d
