Are there anymore Ham Radio operators on here?

I have a license but the truth is I never did much operating, I was just in to electronics. I used to be a "tech plus", but I know they changed the licensing and I'm not sure what I am now (that how long it's been since I paid any attention to it).

I'm not real sure but I think they grandfathered tech plus to General class. There is no longer a code requirement for any of the classes.

I looked it up just for fun, I'm a "Technician". It seems that when the code requirement went away they converted Tech Plus to Technician, but previous Tech Pluses retained the HF privileges. Later they gave those privileges to all Technicians.

IIRC I had passed the exam section for General, but I couldn't pass the 13 WPM code.

Good to meet more Hams on here. Amateur Radio seems to be on the outs with all the latest communications cellular gadgets. But I still love the airways and the hope of those far off contacts.
