installing 4.2.2
installing 4.2.2 freezes at 51% help
|
Did you add the administrator account?
If so, change install.php to upgrade.php If you did not, restart the installer. If it persists, find a less crappy webhost. |
I've had this issue before installing 4.2 on a godaddy server.
What I had to do was switch to the upgrade.php after the install froze and I had to keep starting the upgrade over from where it left off as it would freeze after a bit. I'm not sure what host you have but I think with Godaddy it is some new security measure that is causing this issue. I do not think it is memory or packet size necessarily. BTW-Once the install was finished the site ran fine.. |
