$navbits in the ad_navbar_below template

Hi guys I'm trying to make the $navbits[lastelement] and $navbits[breadcrumb] to show in the ad_navbar_below template. When put on the navbar template they work fine however at the ad_navbar_below they don't work. It looks like the $navbits variable isn't available outside the navbar template, how I can change that?
