Retain username
 
Hello Vbulletin.org,

I guess the user's db has been imported. My new username is now "imported_rammbs".

Can I please get my username back to just "rammbs". I got an email saying that somebody tried to login to my account.

Eventhough, i don't post that much. Because, I always search for answers first.

I will surely appreciate it!

I'm not sure what happened or when my username got changed.

But the first thing I got was someone trying to brute force their way in. Then I tried to use my original username. I can't login. I went through the forgotten username/password process. It was written there what to use as my username (imported_rammbs).

I'm hoping they can change it back.

No backup was used, not sure why you thought that.

the imported_ usernames are many years old and predate me being active on this forum. Note his join date of 2005.

He just said that his username was changed so i thought a backup was used
