Returning to last read in a thread
 

I would like to be able to have my members automatically return to the last post they read in a thread.

Now if a thread is six pages long and they left off on page four, when they come back to the thread it brings them back to page one. I would like them to come back to where they left off on page four.

That is built into vbulletin. All they have to do is click on the "go to first unread post" icon to the left of the thread title. It will bring them directly to the point they left off.

I'm sorry but I don't see what you are talking about. I am using 4.2.2 and don't see it???

If you look at this thread title before you click on it, you will see a tiny icon at the left end of the title. If you click on it, you will be taken directly to the first unread post in the thread. If there is no icon at the beginning of the thread, that means there are no new posts since your last visit. If you simply click on the title, you will be taken to the first post in the thread.
