What would be the best way? model agency page

So im wondering what would be the best way to go about setting up a tab for listing models?

main page would display a few male and a few female models with a clickable '..more models' on both male and female.

If you click on a model image, it would take you to that models, model profile listing (not user profile)

Can this be done with some kind of template CMS mod or something?

I worked on an escort site that used a joomla addon and bridged it with vbulletin... It was very impressive. I think it would work very nice for what you described.
I need to do some digging, I will post the info to it as soon as I locate it.

I did a Joomla-Vbulletin bridge as well years ago but for the life of me I cannot recall what I used. I am interested in what you you come up with.

Depending on the requirements, it'd probably be fairly straightforward to create a "model" content type for the VBCMS...

The requirements. What data you're looking to collect, and how exactly you want it to function.

The model page wouldn't be to collect any data. Just to display models for bookings people to book with perhaps a contacts page at the bottom of each listing. A copt of the contacts page standard would be fine

For that then you could just use the built in Vbulletin cms or perhaps the album system.

I would also like to volunteer my services as a female model interviewer. :)

I have found the one I mentioned, its an escort agency script for joomla that will integrate nicely with vbulletin, I can not post direct link to it here because of its nature.
They could be easily changed over to a modeling site with ease or just become a pimp and make some serious cash with an escort site.

Research these...

I didn't use either of those bridges but they look decent.

If he only plans on some images though and some information then it seems like a ton of work to integrate Joomla. Don't forget this means a whole extra script to keep updated, etc not to mention if not familiar with Joomla it can be quite daunting at first, even more so then Vbulletin.

I think you should look at least give the cms a shot first or try albums or even a third party image gallery. It seems to me this is basically an image thing and Joomla is not needed for that.

With that said I love Joomla but integrations are a pita. It is great stand alone though or used with a shopping cart.

I think I like the Pimp idea. I may have to take a class and get a Pimp degree first. :)
