What is makeconfig.php? This does not sound like a Vbulletin file..

Are you sure you uploaded all the files correctly? I would try uploading them again.

makeconfig.php is a valid vB 5 file.

I think those errors are saying either one or both of these files are missing...

config.php.bkp
core/includes/config.php.new

If they do exist, check the installation instructions. I'm sure they need to be writable.

I've always manually configured my setups so I've not had the honor of using makeconfig.php. ;)

I moved that file and installed... at the end of installation, this other error.

Warning: require_once(/home/m4org/public_html/includes/vb5/../../config.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/m4org/public_html/includes/vb5/config.php on line 44

Oh my bad. I did not even realize this was under Vb5.. Sorry mate. I am much better with anything other than 5.
