Images won't Upload in CMS Articles. Please Help!

I tried to upload an image in a CMS article, but it won't let me.

It used to work before, but now it's not working. Could you please help me find a way to fix this?

Minor mistake I made was I did not check what I was creating. Accidently created static page and was wondering what was wrong.

Might want to make sure you are creating "article" not "static page" or "PHP direct evaluation".

Not sure but I think I vaguely recall not being able to upload images in CMS sidebar layout column.

What version of vB and what version of PHP on the server?

What happened just prior to you not being able to upload images?

Did you check Attachments > Attachment Manager > edit extension and verify that Content Type: vBCMS is allowed to use that extension?

Hi Lynne, the version is 4.2.0

I tried to upload the security patch before that.

I haven't checked that yet, but I was able to upload images before.

If you are running 4.2.0, then you CANNOT just upload the 4.2.2 security patch. The 4.2.2 security patch is ONLY for users running 4.2.2. You would need to follow the instructions here to secure your site - http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/node/4024574 You should put back your original 4.2.0 files and then patch your site via those instructions.

Lynne, I recovered the backup yesterday, so the files from the patch aren't there anymore. I think it has something to do with the "PHP Maximum Size" which I just realized after you told me in the support section. Or is the problem rooted somewhere else? Is there any way I could fix this issue?
