How can I create Left Sidebar Block for Ads and Subforum links

Hello Everybody,

I am a newb and I just purchased a license for vBulletin. I have successfully uploaded and installed the application on my server and it is running perfectly. But I would like to make some few adjustments in the front end of the forum and other page display.

I noticed that the forum spread from left to right of the page with no space for possible positioning of left sidebars for subforum menu links or for advertisements, which of course is one major reason of my using vBulletin as a forum application.

My question is:
1. Is there any script out there or plugin to create a Left sidebar on the forum, Blog and other custom pages?

2. Will it be possible to place advertisements and sub forum links on each of these sidebar?

3. Can a customized vBulletin Forum Template has this feature of Left, Right sidebars?

I have seen that vB comes installed with a Right Sidebar. Can a Left Sidebar be included by installing a plugin or a customization script for it?

How can I make this work for my forum? I went through the Sidebar anywhere mod features and it doesn't have for Left sidebar capability. I really need your input on this.

Thank you very much.

Aaron O.

This can be easily done in the ACP (Admin Control Panel).

ACP --> Settings --> Options --> Forum Sidebar and Block Options -> Sidebar Position: LEFT

Being new to vBulletin the ACP is a bit over whelming (tons of options), I have been there myself. :)

Thank you for your reply. The "Forum Sidebar and Block Options" is good to change the sidebar position from Left to Right. But there is no option to make a Sidebar appear on both side the same time on the same page. This was my question if possible.

Since this is global settings, is there no way to display sidebar on both sides the same time on the Forum, Articles, Blogs, etc?

Just as you've said, it is really over whelming with all the functions of vBulletin. I'm really impressed how intense the forum software it. But setting it up is not going to be easy.

I do really need a guide to do these.

Please advise.

I use vBadvanced CMPS which can supply both as required.

I read about vBadvanced CMPS and can only see it displays just pictures.

Can these pictures be linked as Ads?

Can it be used to display subforum links?

Can you show me a sample of vBAdvanced on both sides of the forum page as right and left sidebar?

Thanks
