Applying the security patch for vb 4.2.2

I read this here http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum...x-of-vbulletin

but there are not instructions to patch the bug for sites without vbulletin cloud system

This is the first time I do this, so I downloaded the patch and replaced the files with the old files, am I all set?
