Why Vbulletin forum didn't use Mobile Style?

Hi,

I'm wondering why Why Vbulletin forum (vbulletin.org and vbulletin.com) didn't use Mobile Style?

and I saw more big forums did the same (no mobile template for mobile devices), what is main reasons?

vB .com should be using Forum Runner which is for mobile devices, not sure though as I never use a mobile device, just going on what it says here about vB 5 :

As for the org, who knows..

So many mobile users nowadays just use tapatalk for Forum when using mobile devices, it's free and fast:

This site does not need a mobile style, it would be to lightweight to run the mods necessary.

Hello New Joe

which is advantages of tapatalk over vbulletin mobile style ?

when I use mobile to browse forum, it required install tapatalk, I feel it spent my time for that

and should we active default mobile style for forum?

Thanks

The problems with Forum Runner and Tapatalk, is they bypass so many hooks, many of the boards mods are bypassed, including any spam prevention techniques you may have in place during registration. IIRC, they also bypass mods that don't allow users to post live links if you use that mod also. There are quite a few more also.

Thanks for pointing this out @Ozzy47, so many users do not understand the reasoning behind so many user interfaces and why modifications do not work between these interfaces. Keep up the @Ozzy47 educational series. :)
