double post problem?
this is a very recent problem. All of the sudden every post anyone on my forum makes, posts it 2 times. This has been happening every time for the past week or so. any fix?
Does the same thing happen with all mods disabled?
its never happened until last week and i have not installed anything new.
That still did not answer the question. Also what version of vB and PHP are you running?
Had this many a time om vB 4
Comes and goes. I put it down to the server hitting slow periods and it double posting due to this. |

Does it really happen on every post? I.e., does it maybe happen on every post made by ajax editors (quick reply, quick edit) and work on the extended editor?
Since te last software update from 4.2.1 -> 4.2.2 on (Apache, Linux 2.6.25.20, PHP 5.2.12) I haven´t noticed more double posts but double threads. Are you referring to posts or threads or both, Swatman?
By now I couldn´t figure out a pattern when and how double threads are beeing created, nor could I reproduce it. It´s a little bit spooky. |
Upgrade to 4.2.2, and make sure the skip errors line is in your config.php file.
