When you login to a forum, a cookie is set. It doesn't care what your IP is, it only cares about the cookie. So, if your IP changes you should still be logged in. (If you delete your cookie, you will be logged out.)

sounds like a plugin...
I had almost the same today.
I have this plugin installed: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=296383
And today my IP was changed. Thank god there are 3 people who can access the admincp :)
Fun thing about this plugin is: when you globaly disable plugins in the config file, you can enter the ACP, but cannot save the new IP in that plugin. The save button is then gone haha.

Your sessionid is partly based on your IP address, so that would happen. You cannot prevent it.

Interesting, didn't know that. So, basically, the OP needs to tell his users to allow cookies.

I think my TorBrowser deleting cookies everytime IP is changed that could be the reason

If your browser deletes your cookies on IP change, then yeah, that is the problem.

...and there's obviously nothing that can be done about it.
