My question is simple, it is possible to add custom forum icons on vBulletin 5?

Right, is not something someone can simply tell you, a proper mod would have to be coded on order to do it, unfortunately no one has done one yet.

No problem. Unfortunately there is very few mods that are out and fully working with vB5 at the moment.
