Add To Favorites Mod

It would be great if there was a mod that you could add topics as favorites.
You would have a button on the showthread page saying "Add To Favorites" you click it & the thread gets saved to a list.
With a link in the ucp "My Favorite Threads" & maybe the same link in the navbar, that lists all of your favorite threads.

Could someone code this?

Why just not subscribe to the thread, it would produce the same results.

I have been searching for a little while... I knew this existed, I have it on a site.
I just was searching with the wrong key words...

lol as soon as i posted this i thort that the 'Subscribe To Thread' was almost the same thing.
Don't you get a notification if a thread your subscribed to gets a reply tho? I also think you get a email witch is a bit annoying.

I suppose i could edit the phrase to say "Add To Favorites"

Thanks for looking m8, that looks a interesting mod... I'll take a look at it, but i really only want to add threads as favorites. Their also seems to be a few bugs, looking at the comments.

EDIT:

I've seen it on a vb4 forum, that's where i got the idea from. Could someone make a similar mod for 3.8?

I fixed the issues others were having and added it to my test site.... link in sig, below.
Feel free to login using the info below to test it out.

I disabled adding post and members to favorites.

Thanks a lot m8, your version looks great. Is there any chance you could edit it so when you click add to favorites it just does it instead of going to the page then clicking save. It's nothing major, but it would be better.

Its not my version, its default, I just fixed install issue & only allow adding threads to favorites.... I will see what I can do and post on the vbfavorites thread...
