How to check if a facility is original?

<font face="Trebuchet MS">Hello friends, I would like to know how to check if the installation of a web page, is original.

That is, if you use vbulletin legal?

Your site or someone elses?

If you think a site is running a pirated version of vBulletin, you can report it here, http://www.vbulletin.com/en/piracy/index/report/

Another site.

I mean, I drink I "Help Spanish" people who have legal licenses, then. I need to know if they have false or legal license!

Only way it to use the link above, and see if the site gets removed in time.

Daniel Mu?oz 01-23-2014 01:46 AM

How long does it take to perform a check?

ozzy47 01-23-2014 01:50 AM

No telling, I guess it is when ever someone is there to do the checking, and then do the verification. Perhaps one of the admins on here might know, but I would be willing to bet there is no set time.

Also if it is a pirated site, I believe they DMCA the host, then it is up to the host to take the appropriate action. Now if the site is on offshore servers there may be no action taken.

What you may be able to do is ask the site owner for his screen name on here, or vb.com, and see if they have made any posts in areas that only members can post in.

So there is no way to know whether the files are pirated or legal?

ozzy47 01-23-2014 02:06 AM

No not by looking at them.

What you are trying to do is admirable, but unfortunately there is no way for you to know, unless of course the person who supplied the user with the pirated software added his own headers in the PHP files, but that is doubtful.

There is no way for you to know if a site is using pirated software or not. Only those that work at IB can tell and they will not let you know.

Well I'll have to use the link;)
