What purposes make you build a forum?
 
Just want to know your opinion why you made your forum?
you build your forum for what purposes like to discuss, share experience, chatting or earning money...etc

Any shares?

My first forum, my off-topic/general discussion forum I opened because a larger corporate owned Jeep site closed and removed their very popular off-topic forum without notice in 2008. There were thousands of posts being made per week but they weren't selling anything to us so we had to go.

Mostly just made it so we all had a place to still hang out.
