vb.org Archive - WGO - All that wasted space

Although I am not a big fan of a cluttered site, I do think the WGO area above the footer is a BIG waste of valuable site space. There is actually enough empty space that everything below it could be included and, rather than having the three individual vertical blocks, why not make them horizontal?

And why not make it 4 horizontal blocks and include the footer items in the 4th block?

I've seen all the template changes for reworked footers, that's not what I imagine to do what I'm referring too. I still want the format that vb uses, I just want it layed out differently.

Is anyone willing to give it a go?
