How to set landing page.

This should be simple. So simple in fact I've screwed it up twice. What should the settings be on the page (screen shot) below for my base url to point to the content page?

Like this...

I've tried all that before. All I get is an unformatted page with text.

That's why I know there's more to it than that, I've tried it before.

Yes, true ...there's always something...try it and also change/check Section Information by clicking the edit icon on your CMS home page ...my attachment image named it Kentucky...not sure what you have it named :)

Edit: of course save, apply and publish !

Put in a support ticket. Your forums seem to be working ok http://www.livinginkentucky.com/forums/forum.php

Mr_Running 01-04-2014 04:16 AM

Oh, I see your content is
Code:

/forums/content.php
I've never done it that way but if I figure something out I'll post back but I'm sure someone will know what to do :)

I'm not sure this still applies but check this post on vB com

Ok question GaryT, do you have a main website at your base url http://www.livinginkentucky.com? If not your first step is to move your base vbulletin install up to it an out of the "forum" folder. Might make things easier to set up an understand if you try a sub forum like that. Further down that page is another link "Homepage URL", what is that one set to? Should be your basic http://www.livinginkentucky.com url. There is also the setting group below that called content management that you'll setup after that. Mine is set to "1-Index" point to CMS index.php default on. Get that far then come back, think there is more via the CMS setting on the actual homepage.
